Raymond Saneholtz Obituary

SANEHOLTZ Raymond "Ray" H. Saneholtz, age 59, of Dublin, Ohio, died Friday at his residence. Born October 24, 1950, in Napoleon, the son of Norris "Tony" and Paula Jean (Plotts) Saneholtz, and they survive in Napoleon. Raymond was a graduate of Napoleon High School, he received a Bachelor and Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Toledo. He was an Environmental Engineer and Officer of the Poggemeyer Design Group in Bowling Green from 1977 to 1990 and was Vice President of Feller, Finch and Associates in Maumee from 1990 to 2008. Surviving are four sons, Mark (Abby) of Tampa, Fla, Michael (Sarah) of Indianapolis, Ind., Matthew (Andrea) of Westin, Fla., and Andrew of Columbus; grandmother, Loretta Plotts of Napoleon; brothers, David E. (Karen) of Bowling Green, Steven (Cheri) of Whitehouse, Ohio, Ted (Chris) of Dublin, Ohio, and Scott (Betsy) of Whitehouse, Ohio; three grandchildren, Cole, Camden and Taylor; and 10 nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday (Nov. 13, 2009) at the Peace Lutheran Church in Bowling Green, Ohio, Rev. Deb Conklin, officiating. Family interment will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Grelton Cemetery, Grelton, Ohio. Friends will be received at the WALKER MORTUARY, 333 West Main St. Napoleon, Ohio 419-592-6015. on Thursday, (Nov.12, 2009) from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. The family suggested memorials be made to the National Alliance for Mental Illness (Ohio Chapter) or The National Foundation for Depressive Illness. We were friends of Ray and his former wife, Lynda, when we lived in Toledo, and were so sorry to hear of his death. You have our condolences and are in our prayers.

I'm very sorry to hear of Ray's passing. I enjoyed his laugh and warm smile. Golfing at Heatherdowns with Ray was always fun. Nothing seemed to rattle him.
