Robert Happ Obituary

Happ Robert Edward Happ, 78, peacefully passed away Friday, November 25, 2016, at his home in Centerburg, Ohio. He is survived by his daughter, Oralinda Happ-Riffe; daughter and son-in-law, Robin (Gerald) Happ-Craig; son and daughter-in-law, Robert (Lorna) Happ; sister and brother-in-law, RuthAnn (Lanny) Happ-Long; grandchildren, Marea (Josh) Emrich and Jewel (Manaf) Anaqreh; seven great-grandchildren; five nieces, 16 nephews and was predeceased by his mother and father Joe and Ruth Amelia Happ, his sister Mary Hooper, brother Joe Happ and his ex-wife Bonnie Aldridge-Happ. He proudly served in the Marines until 1962. Robert retired from AEP after 36 years of service and moved to Las Vegas enjoying time with his brother and sister-in-law Joe (Darlene) Happ. He returned to Ohio to enjoy time with his sisters RuthAnn and Mary. He loved to go to the casino, playing jokes and bantering with everyone but was just as happy when it was reciprocated. He loved his friends and neighbors and would do everything to help them. His family meant the world to him. He'll be forever remembered for the loved and knowledge he bestowed upon us. A special thanks to Jewel Anaqreh, Kris and Ron Proper, Jerry Happ and Samantha Craig. You gave of yourselves to make daddy know he was loved and not forgotten. You all hold a special place in his children's hearts. Per our father's wishes, a private memorial, spreading of ashes and Celebration of life will take place for immediate family only.

Daddy,
It has been 5 years and the pain of your loss has not gone. I Miss and Love you more today. I know you are in a much better place with Mommy, Grandma, Aunt Ruth Ann, Aunt Mary, and Uncle Joe...all of your brother and sisters and you're looking over Linda, Robert, and I making sure we know we are loved.
We will call be together in the future and I know until then you are keeping me in your arm.
I Love You,
Your Baby Girl Always

It's been one year today and it hurts as much as it did on the day you went home to Mom, Grandma, Uncle Joe, Aunt Mary and now Aunt Ruthann has come home to her family also.
I love and miss you every day, Daddy

Daddy I miss you and miss seeing and talking to you everyday.
I know you are in a better place but I am being selfish and want you back with me.
I love you and always will and I can't wait to be with you and mom once again...
Your Baby Girl!!!

I will never forget my grandson puting his hand on your knee and having his "serious discussion" with you, [before he could even talk] and how sweet you were "to listen".
We will dearly miss you.

We only knew Bob a short time. But we thought he was a very special person.

Bob was our volunteer snow shoveler. He did it to be useful, but we appreciated it very much as it kept some of us from falling on the ice. Thanks, Bob
