he was 1 of the best gym teacher a student could have asked for he will be missed at our fish fry he came every Friday so sorry for the loss of a great man and mentor

Mr Maxwell has always been my favorite gym teacher! He was the only one that would let me play dodge ball with the boys back in the day! I will always carry great memories of him with me. May the lord be with your friends and family during this difficult time. Heaven has gained a very special angel. God Bless Chasity S.

Mr maxwell was the best example of what a mentor should be in school. It was a pleasure to have him as a teacher and coach in school and it was an honor to say he was my friend at the donut shop. My thoughts go to his family. May he rest in peace.

We were so sad to hear about Bob's passing and sorry we found out to late to come to his viewing. We will always have the fond memories of when our children were growing up together at church and thru sports. Bob was a good man who will be sadly missed, may God Bless you and your Family.

This world has lost a great soul I can remember all the way to elementary school the joy of knowing Mr. Maxwell he was more then a teacher he was a friend that cared for EVERYONE and he will be dearly and loved & missed...my thoughts and prayers go out to the family... rip. So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I graduated at Zane Trace same year as Bob in 1967. His Mother Patti and my Mother Betty Corcoran Sims were best friends in school at Unioto and my Dad Jack Sims was good friends with Charlie Maxwell, Bob's Father. RIP Bob!

To The Maxwell Family: My thoughts and prayers go out to the Maxwell family in this most difficult time. I had the pleasure of meeting Bob for only a short period when I had coached his daughter , Megan in AAU basketball. Bob and the Maxwell family left a lasting memory in my heart. They are one of the most pleasant families that I have ever met in my 30 years of coaching.. I have very fond memories of Bob and know that he will be missed by many.

Mrs. Maxwell I am so sorry to see Mr. Maxwell's obituary in the paper today. He inspired me to play basketball and volleyball at Mt. Logan middle school. He was a true mentor and a great influence to his students, especially me. He took me under his wing. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. He was the best.

Peggy and family ~ I am so so sorry for your loss. Having lost a younger brother, myself, I know how you are in disbelief and how much your heart is aching. No words can fill the void in your heart and everyone tells me "It will get easier." I will always remember him as a young kid in high school with a bit of an ornery side to him. I was shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of Bob. He left us way to early. I attended Centralia and was 4 years ahead of Bob but knew him and the Maxwell family very well. Unfortunately I will be out of town and not able to attend the viewing or funeral. My sympathy and prayers go out to Bob's widow and family. God bless!

Bob was a great person with a great sense of humor. Whether on the ball court, helping others or taking care of business, Bob was highly respected. Without a doubt, Bob was my friend and teammate and I will greatly miss him. God has a great person in heaven.
