We're not lost

Jim / Deb Hale

November 27, 2016

Bob May and Judy were our neighbors for many years in Johnstown. Our sons played T-ball on the same team and we coached together. Bob and I spent a lot of time together those days, and Judy and my wife Deb became very close. After Deb and I moved away we still remained good friends. Bob and I spent thousands of miles together on our motorcycles, he loved finding obscure back roads, he used to say...
"We're not lost, we're just finding a new way to get where we wanna be."
We received the news about Bob from his sister Bert, and thankfully we were surrounded by our children and their spouses. Their presence helped dull the pain.
I really can't express how much I'll miss Bob, and I'm sure Judy will remain strong. It does help thinking that Bob is up in Heaven throwing a big bike through the curves at Deals Gap, or some other twisty back road he loved so much.
Good bye old friend, and someday I'm sure we'll meet on one of those roads you loved.
Love to Judy and family
