Bob was a great Cousin, one that a younger male cousin could look up to for guidance, a mentor in many ways, whether it be ,sports, outdoor living, business,or walking a Christian life, Bob "Walked The Walk & Walked The Talk", Bob was a true "Fisher of Men" we all will surely miss him,but he's has surely caught the big one eternity with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

My first time meeting Bob it became obvious he was an avid outdoorsman, and based on the pictures he showed me, was a really good one. So imagine my surprise, when he calls me over to fix his DVD player (so he can watch his beloved westerns) when from under his couch comes bounding a cute bunny he named Hoppy. He adored Hoppy to no end and brought him everywhere. Hoppy made it to birthday dinners and most casual gatherings. Always making sure my daughters had a chance to pet him. This is how I remember Bob, a compassionate man who had an enormous capacity for love. My children,Addie, Hayden and Preston will never forget their Papa Bob. They are happy that Bob has now joined Hoppy. They are comforted knowing Bob is now watching over them and excited that they will see him again one day. With all our Love, Siegfreid, Kathy, Addie, Hayden, Preston

When I think about you, I picture your smile. I always said, "I love you," and you always said to me, "you do? I love you too sweetie," and would kiss me on my forehead. Im glad I was able to hold your hand and kiss your forehead last Sunday, and tell you "I love you" one last time. I will always treasure the times you took me fishing, and the time we spent looking over old family photographs, while you meticulously told me who everyone was, and what they did in life. I remember you cooking me squirrel for the first time, and teaching me how to clean a fish, and I remember the day you stopped hunting rabbits because Hoppy came into your life. I love you so much and miss you already, but I know that you are in a better place, watching over us while we wait to see each other again in Heaven. Rest in peace Grandpa.

On behalf of the West High School Alumni Association, I send our condolences to Bob's family. It is always a sad day when we lose an alum. We will list his passing in the January edition of the Alumni Association newsletter so that Bob's extended West family and friends will also know of his passing. (We apologize, but the cut-off date to have information in the October newsletter was 8/20.)

Addie said, “That's ok. He's in heaven to watch over us. Heaven is way better than that bed he was in Don't be sad Mom.”
