Dear Lew and family

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I only saw Bob at '56 reunions. Last July was as always, big smmile, easy conversation and catching-up, because he was really interested in you. A real gentleman and good friend to all who knew him. In any discussion you always knew exactly where he stood, a rare quality today. We'll all miss him.

What amazed me about Bob, during the visit Linda Dorff and I had with Bob and Lew last month, was his presence. Although he was so very tired, his concern was that we were comfortable regardless of his circumstances. I pray we each mirror Bob’s dignity, fighting spirit, and presence, when it’s our turn.

Dear Lew and family,

My thoughts and prayers continue to center around you all. A very fond memory of Bob as I reflect on high school days, he always gave me a smile when we passed in the halls of UA. For a shy girl that act has meant a great deal over the years.

Blessings,
