Robert "Bob" Edward Stotler, Jr., age 66, of Columbus, OH, passed away in hospice care at the Kobacker House on October 13, 2017, surrounded by his loved ones during the last days. He was born on February 8, 1951 to the late Robert and Ruth (Parker) Stotler in Columbus, OH. He worked as a mechanic at Bob Boyd, Dick Masheter and NTB repairing automobiles. He also worked many years, part time at Donatos Pizza. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Claudia (Sherman) Stotler; children, Lisa (Tad) Petrie, Melissa Osborne, Deanna Stotler, Laura Doughty, Valerie Martini and Christina (Chris) Rucker; 23 grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Nataline Hancock and Ruth (Richard) Styers; nieces, nephews and friends. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by daughter Kristi Stotler and a sister Diana Castello. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 9 am until time of service at 10:30 am with Bishop Ernest Evans officiating. Entombment to be held at a later date at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center, 4340 Tamarack Rd., Columbus, OH 43229.
