So saddened to hear that a life so well lived in the Lord Jesus Christ is ended here on earth. Our precious hope is in the faith promises that we shared with Bob. He has now what we all look forward to and that is such comfort. His life is not over but just beginning.
So glad to meet Mary, the love of Bob's life. I think of them often and the commitment they had to each other. May she know the sweet times they spend together are precious moments now.May this be also for their children and family.
Something that comes to mind from Oswald Chambers, Utmost for His Highest.Nov.11
"When God gives you a cup that is sweet, drink it with grace, but when the cup is bitter, drink it in communion with Him".
Blessings and honor to Jesus Christ and the new life He offers.

How blessed I have been to have had Robert Henderson Tavenner as my friend and brother. I always knew he had a heart of love and grace for any and every man, woman or child who walked into his world. I have countless memories of Bob over my 71 years of shared parents and siblings. Robert (aka Bob) is one life for the books...the kind of books we should all be reading. With holy love, my precious brother in Christ, Sally
This Thanksgiving, so many of us will be Giving Thanks for you, Robert. Nov. 26, 2019

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Bob was my steadfast and faithful brother in Christ, a model of Godly love and service for all he contacted. He has gone on to his heavenly reward in heaven where he will share in God's love and faith with all of those who have gone before him.
Peace and God speed my dear brother in Christ. Enjoy your matchless reunion with Jesus. I and your many other blessed friends look forward to the time when we will be greeted by you in paradise. Dick Bailey
