Kathy, Ben and Beth, We can not begin to imagine all of the sadness you are feeling at this time with the loss of husband, father... and best friend when you needed one most. Know that just as he cared for you here on earth... he now watches over you from above. We're certain you all have many wonderful memories of Bob/Dad that will help carry you to smile once more. Share these memories with each other and continue trying to make him proud and you will feel his presence in the warmth of the sun and the stillness of night. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you search for strength, comfort and peace. May you all smile again soon.

On behalf of the entire Naval Maritime Engineering Support community I offer condolences. Bob was a valuable member of a number of Navy Teams that interacted with DLA. His expertise and professionalism made him stand out in a crowd. May you find comfort in your time of grief. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Bob many years ago when I was in the Maritime area. Bob was always one of my favorite "go-to" guys when I needed technical assistance. He was always helpful, professional and highly respected as he continued to be all through his career and life. I would follow Bob down Broad Street on my way home from work. I am going to miss him and that pickup truck. Please know that our prayers will continue through the difficult days ahead and may the Lord bring peace and comfort to you and your family as you heal.
Sincerely, Julie and Steve Searcy

To Bob's Wife,Children & His Parents,
I knew Bob for only 4 years but I heard his name alot around the house when my husband came home.My husband is Charles(Ed) Greene.I heard some real good stories that I won't forget about him & Ed.The only picture I have of him was our graduating picture from RHS. See we were lined up in order of our names, Karen Parker was right behind me and Bob wasn't far away.I wasn't in the band or anything but I still knew of him.My deepest sympathies are with all of you in this time. If there is anything Ed or I can do for you please don't hesitate to ask. They say the Good die YOUNG, well 53 is still YOUNG.And Bob was a very GOOD YOUNG MAN. May he rest in peace. Donna Orr/Greene

To The Trivett Family,
The world just won't be the same around here at DSCC.I've known Bob way back when we were in school in the band together. He stuck it out and I didn't.I got a job at DSCC over 20 some years ago.We both started just about the same time. We ran into each other and he said to me"I know You" and I said "I know you too" We both went to Reynoldsburg High School.Since that day Bob and I saw each other everyday. If I had a problem and I couldn't fiqure it out he would come to my rescue. We both took our breaks together to talk about our kids, our wives and his operation on his knee (which my wife just had done on her right knee in Oct.) He loved to talk about his motorcycle and the great gas mileage he was getting. He almost had me convinced that I should get one but I have no place to keep one. This past Monday when I found out about my best friend at work had been in a deadly accident it tore me up.I tried keeping it together at my desk but had to make a few runs away from there. When I got home my wife had seen it on the news at noon, as she told me it just hit me again. This time I let it out. I don't have that many people down at work that I can say that they are truely my best friend but Bob Trivett was the best.I will miss him everyday.God just got another Great Angel up there to keep him company,Bob until we meet again,Miss you Buddy.Charles(Ed) Greene DSCC Employee Work just won't be the same without you there.

Bob was a wonderful friend for 38 years, and he was much like a brother to me. We shared good times and bad, heartaches and joys. And through it all, I always knew he was my friend. God gives us memories so the people we love are always with us and never really leave. And with Bob, the memories are many...and wonderful. He will always be in our hearts, as he was always a part of our lives. I feel privileged to have known him, and he will never be forgotten, as he was truly our best man.

I worked with Bob at the Longhorn Steak House on Main St. when he was a bus boy. He was always gracious and kind and would do anything that was asked of him. I wish to send my sincere condolences to his wife and children and also his Mom and Dad.

I can't say as I had the privilege of knowing this gentleman, but wanted to extend my heartfelt sympathies to the family from a fellow rider and riding family. Death is always sad, but if he loved to ride as this says, at least he passed doing something he loved. Sending many prayers your way for help through this horrible time.

I can remember our first day of school. My mother, Joyce Blake, was babysitting for Bob. It was our first day of first grade. Bob's mom and my mom put us on the bus and than followed the bus to Graham Road school to make sure we made it safe.
I wish to send my deepest sympathies to Bob's wife and children as well as his Mother and Father from the Blake and Barth Families.

Kathy and family,
I feel as though I have lost a member of my own family. Being a part of Bob's team at DSCC these past several years has been the best years of my career. Bob was much more than the best supervisor and engineer on center, he was a great friend and confidant as well. The six of us who are left of his team, Angela, Mindy, Diana, Dan, Dave, and myself, are Bob's legacy. We will continue to do him proud and honor his memory by remaining the best, most efficient team on center as he has lead us to be. We are, and will always be, grateful for the time we had under Bob's leadership.
With the greatest respect and sympathy,
Rich Risbon

I never had the pleasure of meeting Bobby's wife and children. I was a very little girl growing up with my brothers and looking up to Bobby. Playing in the yard and the basement. I will miss him but I will always have those memories. I'm so so sorry for your loss. All my love to the family. Rhonda Willard McKay Dallas, Texas

Though we don't always understand what God's plans for us are, we can take solace in knowing that He is there for us in our time of need. I am truly sorry Little Bobby is gone from this world but Heaven will be a better place for him being there.

My favorite memory of Bobby is of Woody & him doing a rain dance around the fire at the campground in Springfield, IL when they were small boys. The whole campground flooded and they were banned from doing any more rain dances. We had a great time sitting in the van and laughing as the rain poured down. May your memories of the good times bring you comfort in the days ahead. Love, Emma & Family

I am an attorney for DSCC and had occasion to work with Bob many times on many projects. Bob was an excellent engineer, and always very professional. I liked Bob very much and feel terrible about his passing. He was a truly fine man in all respects. Rest assured all of us who knew him share your grief. God be with you all. Richard Ferguson
