My Beloved Son, Rod! Eleven years have passed without your presence, it´s unbelievable that you are not here with us. Your sons, Mario and Marshawn continue to grow and excel. Academically and in Sports they both remind us so much of you. Not a day goes by that I do not think about you wondering why you had to leave. The anger, the pain and the tears will always remain. So many times I´ve needed you if love alone could have saved you, you would still be with us. I love and miss you Son .

My Beloved Son, words will Never be able to explain what I am feeling right now! It´s been ten years since I´ve seen your face , heard your voice , kissed your forehead or felt your embrace. Truly , the pain will never, ever go away. Looking at your sons , I can´t help but wonder, why you had to leave here and not rear them yourself. I will never understand. I love and miss you more and more each day. Forever in my Heart, your Motber

It was with great sadness when I heard of Roderick's tragic death. Although Rod played for Central Crossing High School for only one year it was a pleasure to have a chance to coach him. Rod always practiced hard and played hard. He was a joy to coach and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. To his two sons, please now that your dad was a joy to coach and a great guy to be around who enjoyed life with a smile each day
