I was saddened to hear of Mr. Coffey’s passing. He was a life-long friend of my father Michael and he will truly be missed. Although I had not seen him in a number of years I always will remember his hearty laugh. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I've only known Roger for the past three years, he was a regular in our poker game. I am deeply saddened by the news of his passing. I was looking forward to discussing the collapse of the Cavaliers in the playoffs and the future of LeBron with him at this week's game. I didn't see this coming at all.
Roger was just one of those guys that people take an instant liking to. He was one of the nicest guys you could hope to meet. Friendly, funny, easy going, he seemed much younger than his years. The photo above is perfect. I wouldn't recognize him except for that smile.
I'll miss you, Roger. I thought that I'd get to know you better over the coming years. I didn't know that you'd be taken from us so soon. But I'll always remember you. You were a good man and I'm proud to have known you. Rest in peace, my friend.

I met Roger back in 1992 when I first moved to Columbus. From when I first got to know him, I always saw him as a friend. All of these years later, when I thought about my friends, he was part of that list. You will be missed Roger, thanks for being my friend.
