Ruth Lackner Obituary

Lackner Ruth Marie Lackner, age 88, Monday, June 15, 2015, at her residence. Ruth was employed for over 40 years as a medical assistant, volunteered as a tour guide at the Ohio Historical Society, was an avid reader, traveler and Dallas Cowboys fan. Survived by husband, Leo Lackner; daughter, Shirlee Lackner; son, Richard Lackner; grandchildren, Dakota Lackner, Cheyenne Lackner, Tristen Lackner; brother, George Frye; brother, Edward Shall and sister, Cathy Shall, nephews, Gary and Randy (Sarah) Young; many great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sisters Shirley and Sandra, brothers Kenneth, James and Joseph. Special thanks to Acclaim Hospice and all of the family and friends who supported Ruth throughout her illness. Memorial service Friday 3 p.m., EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 4171 E. Livingston Ave., where friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of service. www.evansfuneralhome.net
