S. James S. Stapleton

Stapleton S. James S. Stapleton (Jim), 31 of Upper Arlington was called home to the Lord unexpectedly on May 1, 2013. He was a 1999 graduate of Hilliard Darby High School and a 2004 graduate of The Ohio State University. He was employed at The Ohio State University as a Configuration Management Specialist in OCIO. He was a beacon of love and kindness to everyone he met. Jim truly cared for his fellow man as evidenced by his tutoring friends in math classes, giving cooking lessons, or just listening when someone needed a shoulder. Jim was preceded in death by his mother Pamela, his grandparents James and Shirley Stapleton, Albert Boin, Dolores Crisp, Harold Moore and uncle James Yaple. He is survived by his father, Steven Stapleton (Catherine); sister, Jennifer Guilmette (Michael); grandmother, Rosemary Moore; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss his spirit and wit dearly. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 8 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 386 Buttles Ave. with Father Ron Atwood officiating. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7 at the NORTHWEST CHAPEL OF EGAN-RYAN, 4661 Kenny Rd. Remembrance Vigil will follow.
