Sam never forgot a face and could always put a name to that face. His sincere manner and knowledge of aircraft parts made a trip to the Lane Parts store a pleasant experience. His passing is a great loss to the aviation community.

I knew Sam thru his work, and was lucky enough to meet him at a conference several years ago. Sam was a very kind & generous man that always had a friendly smile, and an upbeat personality. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.

Sam was very polite he said hi when ever I was outside he would talk to me about my cars and life he was a great neighbor and I would have never asked for anyone eles

I worked for Sam in the parts department at Lane Aviation from 2000 to 2001 and I really enjoyed working for a man who was very good at his job and well respected at Lane Aviation.Not only did I like working for Sam at Lane but,I had alot of utmost respect for the man.He was smart and he knew his stuff so Sam,God Bless You and to your family.You Will Be Greatly Missed.
