Scott Persinger Obituary

Persinger Scott A. Persinger, 51, Columbus, OH, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in Doctors Hospital. He was born on March 8, 1962 in Columbus, and was a graduate of Westland High School. Scott enjoyed many good friends throughout his short life. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Persinger, Marblehead, OH; sister, Lynn List, Murrells Inlet, SC; brothers, Brent (Phyllis) Persinger, Columbus, Mark Persinger, Marblehead, and Todd (Lynn) Persinger, Granville, OH. He was preceded in death by his father, Gene in 2011. A private burial will take place. TOFT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Sandusky is handling arrangements. Condolences may be shared at www.toftfh.com.

Dear Persinger family,

It came as a shock that Scotty had passed. I have so many great memories to share. My kids are all grown up now with kids of their own now, and they remember Scotty too and the stories all start with you remember when Scotty P . Scotty will always be in our harts and always in our memories. We are so sorry for your loss.

Uncle Scotty will be dearly missed. I remember as a child riding with him in his low rider truck while he played the song" low rider" by war it was to funny. I have great memories of spending time with him love you uncle r.i.p. To my grandmother you are in my thought as prayers i love you too. To my father i will be here if you need a hug or a shoulder to cry on. This is a difficult time for all of us but he is up there with grandpa looking over all of us.

My Uncle Scotty was a great man. I remember how much he would make me smile and laugh when he would visit in California. Swinging me around. He will be missed dearly. I know he is in a better place. Give Grandpa a big 'ol hug from me Uncle. Love you forever!

To The Persinger Family: Scott lived just around the corner from me in New Rome we hung out in high school and had a great time. Mark do you remember going to the concert in Cleveland with Suzie, Scott and myself had great time with your brother. I haven't seen him for a long while but he has always remained in my thoughts.
