Five years ago today a beautiful glow was extinguished from this earth to glow in heaven. We still miss you with every breath, Patrick. You were and are loved by the many you touched.

Until we meet again, know complete peace, Baby Boy. (You LOVED when I calles you that. Right!!)

Although it has been 10 years since we were all last together some of our fondest memories are being in Columbus and spending time with all of you. We were out of town this week and returned to hear this news. We will all remember Pat as that handsome kid in the baby blue Trinity T-shirt that stood about a head taller than everyone else! It was fun to read about him as his athletic career progressed in the way we knew it would - and encouraging to watch you support and celebrate that as a family, whether by working "Bingo" or participating as a coach, booster, or fan. We hope that he can remain forever a part of your family in your heads and in your hearts. God bless you as you try to find your path forward.

To the Graham family:
There is no person in this world that will replace Pat. I went to St. Charles with him before he left to go to Ready. Pat was an amazing person: always smiling, never negative.

Every year, the first weekend of August, I looked forward to seeing him at the Dublin Irish Fest.

I always remember Pat as a genuine person, who could do harm to no one.

He will be missed, and the Graham family will always, ALWAYS be in my thoughts.

Dear Pat & Amy, and Deanna:
I read about this quite by chance, and am so sorry to learn of your loss. I wish there was something deeply comforting and full of wisdom that I could say, but nothing seems adequate. I recently got back in touch with Deanna after many years, and am so glad that I did. My prayers are with you and your family.

Please know that Mary Lou and I are thinking about you at this time -- and are keeping all of you in our prayers. I knew Pat even though I did not teach him.

As you know, Lauren, life does not always treat us well. But I am confident that you are strong and will bounce back. You have a ton of support ( as you can read in all of these comments), including mine. You are welcome at any time to call, write or drop by to see me. And I hope you do!

Stay great and God bless.

i will miss him soooo much
but it also helps me out to think about the times that all of us have spent together as the "grandkids"
with all the pool parties where sean patrick would always suprise us by doin a cannonball!!!

he would always find ways to make us all laugh and have a good time. he would always be the one to start the paper ball fights on christmas too!!

if we werent in the pool, we were downstairs playin games in the basement...either way, we would never be left bored

he also was real-e protective of me and racheal and would walk with us from my dads house to the walgreens next door when he visited,
buyin us stuff when we got there

if that doesnt sound like an awesome cousin, then i dont know what is...

i love u pat, amy, and lauren

im deeply sorry for ur loss
and i wish the best for u

July 16, 2008

Amy and Pat,

When I heard about Pat yesterday, I just went numb. I can't even fathom the devastation that you're going through.

I remember training him for 3 weeks at the Clerk of Courts Title office and working with him for months to follow. What impressed me most about him was how he was such an "old soul" and such a deeply passionate person. We would talk about our love of the 60's and 70's music. I remember when he asked me my son's name and I told him it was Dylan; he said that if he ever had a little boy he wanted to name him Dylan. First because of his Irish heritage and secondly because of Bob Dylan.

I especially remember those crystal blue eyes and that huge smile. What a beautiful guy inside and out. Just in the short time that I knew him I wanted to claim him as my little brother.

I am currently out of town but know that you both are heavy on my heart.

May God abundantly pour out his love and peace on you and your family,

Our hearts are shattered. Never did a more gentle soul walk this earth. The memory of his smile and "goofiness" will always make our hearts smile and for that, we are greatful. We truly believe God said to him, "Come home, my son, and be at peace with Me."

We will miss him every day for the rest of our lives but we also know that one day, we will be with him again.

We are so proud he was our godson.

July 15, 2008

I close my eyes and can hear his voice say hey Aunt Deanna. Right before he wrapped his arms around me to hug me. I will miss him. I know that God has him and is taking care of him until we are with him again. Pat, Amy and Lauren know you are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. I enjoyed reading about his great appetite at Angie's and his love of cookies. You will be happy to know he told his whole family about those Cookies too. That was so Patrick. Me and the kids have told our stories about Patrick. His love of food started at a very young age with home made ice cream sitting in a diaper and holding his head because of the brain freeze. I guess I should not have shoveled it in so fast but he couldn't get it fast enough. I remember the day he was taller than me and the little boy towered over me. And we joke about who little Pat was in the family. I guess that would be my dad (grandpa). I know of no one who didn't instantly want to be around Patrick. Even when he meet our family in Ireland they wanted to steal him. I go into my kitchen and look at the cabinets he helped me move into my new home. And I think of the one that flew out of the truck and never made it here. We laughed until I cried. He and Ricky were talking and jamming to music and didn't even notice it was gone until they got here with a empty truck. I know he has forever changed my life and made me want to be a better person.

Dear Lauren and Mr. and Mrs. Graham,

I so enjoyed teaching Pat - and being taught by him. He was a caring young man with an "old" soul. His all-too-brief earthly life has left us with emptiness, but his spirit and his intellect remain part of our consciousness for eternity.

I will remember his insights and his laughter and his love of "real" music and his passion for life.

My thoughts, my prayers, are with you today and always.

Deepest Sympathy to Pat, Amy & Lauren for the loss of your son and brother Pat.

The angels sang amazing grace, the Lord came down and touched your face, He held your hand and whispered low, "Come with me, it's time to go." The gates of Heaven opened wide, the angels lined up side by side. A special guest was on the way, the day God took you away. A special smile, a special face, a son that can never be replaced.

Dear Graham Family,

There are obviously no words nor solace we can offer that will ever lessen your pain. Please know your family is in our prayers and we are terribly sorry for your loss.

Lauren & Family, mine and my family's thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We too
have experienced the loss of a brother/son, so if there is anything we can do to help you @ any time please let us know and just remember that you and your family, like me and my family have our own personal "ANGEL" watching over us.
We pray God gives you strength and peace during this time and always.

My prayers and sympathy go out to your family. I graduated from BRHS with Pat in '03. Please be assured that Pat touched so many people's lives through out his time with us. We all have our special individual memories with him that we will hold onto forever. Pat will always be in my heart. He always made me smile and always seemed to have the right thing to say...at the right moment. I know that Pat is happy and at peace with himself now. The BRHS family will always hold onto him.

Graham Family,
I am sorry to hear about your loss. I was in the grade below Pat at Trinity Elementary. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the opportunity to speak to him all that much, but I can recall that he was very charismatic and deeply loved by his friends.
