Sean McCreary Obituary
1970 - 2018
Sean Patrick McCreary, age 48, was received in the arms of the Angels on Monday, November 19, 2018, with his family at his side. Sean graduated from St. Christopher Grade School and Thomas Worthington High School. He was a member of St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church and their Men's Club. He was employed with Grandview Heights Parks and Recreation and also volunteered with the Dublin Irish Festival. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Samuel and Emma Mae McCreary, maternal grandparents Edilio "Blupe" and Helen Jaconetti, aunts Marianne Jaconetti and Joan Dandrea. He is survived by his wife, Melissa; daughters, Gabriella and Cecelia; parents, Sam and Linda McCreary; brother, Chip (Diana) McCreary; in-laws, Ramon and Joella Billapando; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carmelle and James, Corinne and Don, Colette and Tim, Russ and Connie, Chris and Tracie, Matt, and Nicole; many loving nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, November 23, 2018, from 4-7 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. Fifth Avenue, Columbus. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church, 1600 N. Hague Avenue, Columbus. Rev. Fr. Jeff J. Rimelspach, Presider. I was really saddened to hear of Seans passing. I remember him as a great young man, loved and respected by my mom and dad (Jack and Joann), especially. My condolences to you and to Seans wife and daughters. A life cut too short. He will always be with you.

Sean was a valued member of St. Margaret of Cortona Parish. He was a valuable member of the bingo leadership team and was a regular fish fryer during the Lenten fish fries. He always had a smile and a great attitude, even after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He will be truly missed.
