Sterling Gill Obituary

GILL Sterling E. Gill, Sr. passed away December 7, 2007 at OSU East Hospital after a long illness. A retired hospital administrator for the State of Ohio, where he also developed the state's Medicare / Medicaid program. He was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and the Alpha Rho Chapter. Survived by devoted wife of 66 years, Vivian E Gill; son, Sterling E. Gill, II; daughter Stephanie Zoe of Orange, NJ; grandson Sterling E. Gill, III and Stewart Gill; great-granddaughter, Nia Elizabeth Gill; sister, Florence Gill Harris of Atlanta, GA; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Family will receive friends Saturday, December 15, 2007 from 10:00 am until the start of the memorial service at 11:00 am. at the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME VICTORIAN VILLAGE CHAPEL, 34 W 2nd Ave. Inurnment Southview Cemetery in Atlanta, GA.
