I never met Steve but I was fortunate to meet some of the Farber family on a recent business trip to Columbus. On behalf of SYSPRO, I would like to express our sincerest condolences and wish the entire Farber family "long life" and strength in getting over his sad passing. From all I have heard, Steve was a very inspirational man and he left his magic mark on many people....they say that the touch on others is the greatest measurement aperson can have and Steve made s huge impression. May he rest in peace.

Dear John, Ken, Nick, Pam and all the Farber family,
Today is Jan. 11, and I just learned of Steve's tragic passing on the 28th. I as so sorry for your loss and know that words alone will never fill the void he leaves behind. God bless all of you and may he comfort you with the support of all your family and friends.
Steve and I were good friends from the mid 70's. We traveled Europe for a month in 1977 in an RV the Farbers shipped to England. Steve was the one who talked me into becoming an RV salesperson at Farber East, and started my 33 year very successful career.
Steve was in my wedding party, just to make the pictures look better. Steve always had a great attitude and a killer smile. He was a pleasure to be around and fun to party with. As the years passed by we managed to keep in contact, he visited me at Lazydays in Flordia and we talked Prevost and Bus
conversions. Lately we were on Facebook together, celebrating our childrens adventurers and successes. Time has swept us along and taken Steve too soon. I am better for having know him.

My sincere condolences to all of your family on the passing of Steve. Although the time I knew him was brief, Steve was a complete professional in the business and just an all around great guy. We are so very sorry and still in shock to hear about Steve. I will always remember Steve as someone who, as a friend and mentor, helped me get started in my business while he was growing all of his businesses. He was a rare individual, who was always positive and willing to help anyone. His commitment and devotion to his family and friends will never be forgotten. Steve was such a wonderful person. It was an honor and a privilege to have known him. Our prayers and thoughts will be continually with you and your family.

Dear Farber Family,
I extend my sympathies on the death of Steve. I met him at Mobile Clinics Conference in New Orleans this past September, along with his lovely daughter and nephew. I no longer manage the Mobile Health programs at Dana-Farber. But I was pleased to meet Steve. He extended himself and the services of his company to make improvements with the Blum Van and help us out. I appreciated his listening ear and willingness to work with us. May he rest from his labors and his good deeds go with him.

Ken, Even though I have never met your brother, Steve, I remember how close you were to all your brothers. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you. I know who heart wrenching this is for you. I am so shocked and saddened to hear of the loss of Steve Farber. We purchased our mobile mammo van from Farber in 2002 and Steve was such a wonderful man to work with, no matter what I could always call him over the years if I needed anything for our van! I am glad I had the privilege of knowing and working with him...to the family my thoughts and prayers are with you. May God be with you all during this most difficult time.

We feel blessed to have had such a special light in our lives. Today Andy Farber did an outstanding job of encompassing Steve's zest for live, his love of family, friends and his work. Steve is still giving..he is giving us inspiration to live life to the fullest and cherish our loved ones. Pam, we hold you dear in our hearts and will keep you and the entire Farber/Thomas family in prayer. In the words of Carole King " we are the lucky ones..some people never got to know...oh, we got to know..Now and forever I will always think of you". Some of the Farber Family may recognize my name... some of you will not... but as I read through the obituary it strikes me that I know each of your names... and a little bit about each of you because Steve has shared with me over the years about all of you... which speaks volumes about who he was... his love for his family always evident... I met Steve about 15 years ago as business associate... not all business associates become your friend... but we became friends because of his integrity and heart... his unexpected passing leaves such a sadness in my heart... I cannot fathom how it must feel for his beloved family... my heart is breaking with yours and I wish from the seat of my soul that I could some how lessen this most profound loss for each of you... i celebrate this beautiful life with you and mourn the loss of his light on this earth... with love and light always, Jan Rodery, Oklahoma Breast Care Center, OKC, OK

Pam, Ashley, Aly, Andrew, John, Ken and Nick - my heart is so heavy for all of you. I learned of Steve's death this afternoon when I was visiting my old boss from BOA. So many fond memories of those days helping you all with the employee benefits. Steve was so supportive of me when I decided to retire at age 60 - talked of the importance of living life to the fullest. He certainly did that. He loved you all so much. I literally watched the kids grow up through the pictures on his desk. You are all on my heart, in my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time. May he rest in peace.

To the Farber Family,
I had the brief, although very honorable pleasure of meeting Steve and his great brothers Ken and Nicholas in November with Sam Farb, Jr and Dave Suchland for some business planning discussions and have to say that Steve made a massive positive impression on me when he took us on a tour of their company.. As he spoke with such pride and excitement of what they all built together and of the future of the company, I only remember thinking of very few people that have made that kind of impact on me so quickly.
As I experienced a tragic unexpected loss of my younger brother (37) in October of 2008 then followed by mother in October of 2009, both very close, all I can say is that there are many many prayers from the Zenni family for you all in this very hard and confusing time....
May God bless you all deeply and welcome Steve in Heaven with open arms as he has earned many rewards for touching people so positively here.....

Our Mission Services/Community Outreach staff and Women's Health Center staff at Mount Carmel Health worked closely with Steve and his team on two new coaches over the past year and a half. Health and public service vehicles from all over the U.S. are built right here at the Farber facility in Columbus and Steve was no doubt a wonderful ambassador for our city.
