I just learned of Suzzi's death. I had not seen her since we were in elementary school together. Then, after 50 years she found me and we had two great visits in person and many phone calls and cards. I miss her.

My deepest sympathy to Suzie's boys. We were neighbors on Florian Dr. for 17 years and I have many good memories of Suzanne. She was a fine lady.

Our hearts and prayers are with all of you during this sad time. But it is really hard to think of "sad" and Suzzi in the same thought. Her "wicked" laugh is what I always associate with memories of Suzzi! Blessedly we shared a few of them with Suzzi and Danny on Thanksgiving Day. Celebration of Life is more Suzzi's style--and she will be greatly missed. With love, Wayne, Trudy, Derek and Nate (Ferguson)

Suzzi was a distant cousin to us - Paul, Trudy, and Dee (Greta's children). We are all deeply saddened to hear of Suzzi's passing. She brought much love and laughter into our lives while growing up and we've missed her humor (like Uncle Jim's) over the years with our lives going in different directions. Our memories will always be treasured. Personally, Suzzi will always live on by memorable pics of my wedding (she made my cake) and her contagious laughter. I am so grateful for the love and kindness she felt for my mom who drove to the East Coast for the birth of, I believe, Chris or Danny. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of your families during this difficult time.

Our family is saddened at the passing of Suzzi. She was a cousin of my dad, Raymond Smith of Springfield.

Before Dad passed away, Suzzi would visit him on occassion and offer to take him for a drive. Those excursions would at times take them to their ancestors' family home in Jackson, Ohio.

Suzzi would be in her Sunday best but somehow with Dad's urging their adventures would begin by climbing under a barbed wire fence and a walk through a farmer's field full of waist high weeds and briars.

One such trip took them to Jackson where they encountered a small bull, a little brown pig, and the Ohio State Police. I realize this sounds like a set up to a comedian's act but we do have the photos to prove that it really happened.

Dad loved to tell this story over and over again. All who heard it, always got many chuckles from the "tail" of the bull and the pig. The story ends well and provided Dad with a great deal of fun and pleasure.

We appreciate the friendship and many, many kindnesses that Suzzi
showed Dad over the years.

Our sincere sympathy,
Mary Emmajean (Smith) Mittelstaedt and family

Suzzi was a great friend of my Mother, Cynthia McAdow, from she and Ron's Little Turtle days. I first meant Suzzi after my youngest daughter was born. We took long walks at Sharon Woods park. Taking turns pushing the
stroller and power walking through the park. We played golf together too and no matter
what Suzzi was always upbeat and optimistic. You could count on lots of laughter with Suzzi. My
parents moved to FL about 15 years ago, but Suzzi still called me several times a year to chat and get updates on my daughters. I am sorry for your loss at this time, she was a very special individual.

Suzanne was my favorite cousin growing up. My fondest childhood memories are the times spent w/her. She was the adventurous one and I the shy one. We spent our summers together and wrote letters back and forth. I'll always treasure those memories. She was a generous, faithful people person. I really can't believe she is gone. Providentially, she asked me to go w/her to Fl. in Oct. Six mo. later she is gone. Thank God for the time we spent together then. I'll miss her.

Sorry to hear about your loss. She was a great person , and will be missed. I can remember the day she visited me in the OSU hospital , she asked me to meet her in the 1st floor lobby , when I went down to meet her , to my surprise she had a really neat large dog with her on a leash , right there in the hospital , that really made my day , and I still remember it , now some 20 years later, she was a special person.

Dear Family,
Your mom, my friend, was often a mystery and a miracle to me. I learned to walk along side of her and trust....and what a adventure would happen....Thank you for allowing me to be so near to you during the last 2 weeks.
This too was part of that same TRUST and felt at the heart level. God has unique plans...if we can simply follow.
