I had the pleasure of knowing Thanh while we were working on our undergraduate degrees at WSU. He was a very friendly person and shared many stories about Viet Nam.
Regretfully we lost touch through the years, but to this day whenever I meet someone from that part of the world my first thought is "I wonder if they are as friendly as Thanh" Rest in Peace, Brother!
