Hello,

I just ready today about Tim's passing from the Ohio State Alumni magazine. He's remembered from my trips to Redwood Rd. for my paper route and the good conversation we had at the Northland High Class reunion in 2006. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I can't begin to relay how Tim impacted my outlook on life. While i knew him a bit in highschool, it wasn't untill my years at OSU that i began to appreciate his sincere love for life and people. Tim taught me to appreciate the little things in life and find the good in all things/people. Once again, with his passing, he has reminded me of the importance of staying in touch with those you love.

Dear Tom, Nadine and Brian.
The Grant’s pray for peace over your family all at this time. I mourn the loss of a great friend and a person who truly was the center of our lives for many years. Tim always showed the most positive attitude and an unselfishness which is a reflection all the love he received at home.

Tim was a fantastic friend and will be lovingly remembered by anyone who had the pleasure to know him. I will always remember Tim and recall an easier life on Redwood with our Redwood Gang! Over the past few weeks, I have thought of our friendship, the fun we all had together and how we all helped each other grow as young men and young adults.

I hope your family finds comfort in God and knows in your heart that Tim is at peace with our Maker. My deepest condolences.

The world became a much lonelier place on Saturday with Tim’s passing. It is now the memory of his effervescent spirit that will live on in all of us. I had the privilege of Tim’s friendship since kindergarten and believe he is responsible for teaching me, and many others, about life itself. The many challenges that Tim faced, and his incredible ability to manage and overcome those challenges, should serve as inspiration to us all. In the face of adversity Tim could maintain an incredible level of optimism. I will not forget Indian Guides, the candy counter at IGA, hot Summer days and BB guns, firecrackers, Brian’s Ford Mustang with “foot” pedals, Donatos pizza at the Gouhin’s on Friday nights, stacks of comic books, and, of course, that Spring Break trip that everyone seems to remember.

I will continue to toast Tim and his spirited nature with every Buckeye football game, on every birthday, each Christmas……..

I have so many wonderful memories of Tim and how he was and always will be such an integral part of my life through my teenage years and adulthood! Where to start like hanging out in front of T's house on those long summer evenings, racing through Northland mall pushing Tim's chair or that hilarious spring break vacation during our Freshmen year of college in Daytona Beach. I could write a book on all the hilarious times we had and Tim's laugh was infectious, I'll never forget it. Tim was a brave Man and persevered through a lot in his life but I'll always remember his sense of humor and sense of fun! I will remember those times with great fondness and a smile on my face! God Bless!

Tim always had a good knowledge of the world and I enjoyed our college-day discussions about it. He was a great friend and I'm going to cherish the good times we had. I will remember the good times always, one of which is posted on the internet. I believe this was just 2 short years ago and it is how I will forever remember my friend: http://www.dotphoto.com/GuestViewImage.asp?AID=0&IID=127546917

Tim was a great friend to me and to so many others. I will remember the summer nights at Redwood, the Florida vacations, the concerts, all-night albumn taping sessions, the comic books, the Dart, the wheelchair...and on it goes. Please take a moment to list some of your good memories!
