JANE and family: You have our heartfelt sympathies. We met you and Bill at the former Corner Pizzeria at the bottom of Worthington Hills. Bill was a nice and interesting guy. He had a great interest in automobiles and would come down to the Pizzeria with his cronies after working on the cars. Then he bought the building next to Group One Realty with who I am now associated. We will miss seeing him driving his myriad of vehicles to the office. He had an unmatched energy level. Most men define themselves by their profession. I think that Bill used his profession more as a vehicle to explore other sides of his life. He will be missed. Your have our sincere sympathies. I met Bill and the girls only once. But, Jane, I had the pleasure of working with you for seven years. You can tell a lot about a person by the people with whom he chooses to share his life. I think I know enough to say that Bill was a superb person - in love with life and his family. With the exception of one tragic moment, all was exactly as it should have been. Hold on to the millions of moments you created and not just this one.

To the Coulman Family:

I was so shocked when I heard the news about Bill, it was unbelieveable to me. Bill lived life to the fullest, and enjoyed "everything". I got to know Bill coming into McConnell to loose those few extra pounds, buying those gatorades & tomato juices. Bill had a wonderful outlook on everything, and was always very helpful. I will greatly miss his smiling face at McConnell, and our chats together.

My Deepest Sympathy's to you and all your family at this very sad time. Karen Meier

Dear Jane and Girls,

I was very saddened to hear of Bills tragic death. My kids and I are patients of your office and we absolutely loved Dr Bill. He made us feel so at ease and never afraid to come in there. He had just told me last visit that he had flown somewhere for homemade pie.... what a wonderful person.

He will be missed!

God bless you and we will keep your family in our prayers.

Jane and girls,

I cannot express to you the incredible sadness I feel over the death of Dr. Coulman. He was the most amazing man and dentist. When I came to your office in 1992, I never dreamed that you, Jane, Dr. Coulman and your amazing staff would make going to the dentist a FUN experience. Dr. Coulman helped me with a horrible phobia I had of dentists and he made me smile while he was at it. He truly was a one of a kind fellow. The world will be just a little bit more gray without him in it. God bless you!

So sorry to hear of Bill's untimely death. Like so many others, Bill impressed me with his friendly, caring attitude & love for his family, friends & community. We were in anatomy class together back when Bill was still a dental hygienist, just starting his trasition to becoming a dentist. Coincidentally, I was a dental assistant, just starting my transition to becoming a registered nurse. We both had young children & he often spoke of his daughters & his work in the Coast Guard at Marblehead, Ohio. His positive attitude & zest for living has obviously touched many lives. May you, Mrs. Coulman & your daughters find solace in knowing that Bill's legacy lives on by the example he set in the way he chose to live his life while here on earth. God Bless & comfort you during this very sad time.

Jane,

Words cannot express the way I feel with the loss of Dr. Bill. Although it's not much, I am sure he is in a better place, flying high, with a huge smile. Take solace in that. We are grateful to have had Dr. Bill grace our lives.

Dear Coulman Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. I was saddened when I heard the news. I first met Dr. Coulman on an emergency last-minute visit for a broken front tooth several years ago, while in college. After graduation, I went back to his practice as a regular patient. He made going to the dentist more enjoyable with his wit and laid-back presence. Dr. Coulman will be missed. I offer my sincere condolences to the Coulman family and the staff at "The Gentle Dentist" office.

Jane, You and the girls and Bill's sister, Karen, are in our thoughts. We didn't know Cliff's cousin, Bill Coulman, very well, but from the few times we were with him, his love of life and lively sense of humor were evident. We were looking forward to getting to know you and Bill, and Karen and Mike, better at the family reunion next month. I know we will all be thinking of Bill at that time especially.

Jane and Family,

I'm very sad to hear of your loss. Bill Coulman was one of the people that really made me enjoy the Naval Reserve. He was a good friend, father, and leader that would go beyond limits to help humanity and his country. He defined the word PATRIOT. God Bless.

When we heard about Bill it was so painful because he was such a big lover of life and always enjoyed anything he ever did. He always talked about the girls, his cars, and "The Boss". Dear Coulman Family;

I was deeply saddened when I heard of Dr. Coulman's passing. My husband and I were patients until my job relocated us to Cincinnati. One of my main concerns with relocating was finding a dentist as great as Dr. Coulman! He was a wonderful dentist, with a great smile, awesome humor and quick wit. He made going to the dentist enjoyable. I just wanted you to know that even though I did not get to know Dr. Coulman personally; he made a strong impact on me and my family. He will be remembered fondly. Remember the good times you had as a family. Psalms 46:1

Dear Jane, words cannot express the sorrow I feel having heard of Bill's death. My childhood memories of seeing Bill when I was at my grandparents are some of the happiest I have. He was great role model for when I was a young boy and the same held true as I made my way into adulthood. Bill's optimistic sense of humor, the wonderfully respectful way he treated everyone and his sense of adventure made Bill a one-of-a-kind person you can never forget.

I offer my condolences to you and your family.

Dear Jane and family,

We're out-of-town and learned through NBC4 website about Dr. Coulman. Shocked. So sorry! Dr. Bill Coulman always had a smile on his face and treated us like a friend. The 2nd trip to the dentist for the triplets was a great experience and so glad we got to talk to Bill. Bill took the time to fill Connor's baby tooth so we didn't have to make another trip. Connor keeps saying, "Dr. Coulman was so nice to me." They're not afraid of the dentist anymore. Our thoughts and prayers are with you! Call if you need anything!

His kind & gentle personality, wide range of interests and hobbies made him a unique individual and a great friend. Bill went the extra mile when it came to aviation safety. . . .the reason it is so hard to understand why this accident happened. This tragic accident has hit the central Ohio aviation community really hard because it is an accident that cannot and may never be explained until we join Bill someday.
