We only met Bill and Kitty once, and that was when we overstayed our tour of the house at 510 Cedar Street. It was for sale and we fell in love with it so much that we made an offer right then and there. We closed in July, 2004 and have had 17 wonderful years living there. But, we are now in our eighties, have a home here in Florida and have decided to sell the Cedar Street this summer. Over the years we have heard so many good things said about Kitty and Bill and wish to extend our sincere condolences to their children and grandchildren on their loss.

Mr. Reilland,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army during the Cold War. Millions of Americans slept safe at night because you and your fellow Servicemen stood ready to defend our Country. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Bill was one of the first people I got to know when I began my pastorate at First Parish. I have many fond memories. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather; taking great pride in his family. And he was certainly a blessing to his church. My thoughts and prayers are with you, his family, as you mourn his passing.

As a classmate of Bill at The Columbus Academy and Yale I found him to be a caring, involved gentleman at all times.
