Dear Members of the Koppel Family,
In reading the obituary I felt compelled to write you and offer my sincerest condolences.
I was so taken by all that Mr. Koppel had done in his lifetime and felt that we, as a people, owe him a debt of gratitude.
I will share this with friends - here and in Israel - so that they may know who he was and what he did for all of us.
Though I am not particularly religious, I cannot help but think that his having passed away between Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur is significant and marks his life in some very special way.
May his memory be for a blessing and may G-d comfort you together with all the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Our thoughts are with you, loss is so hard and lonely, but Yehuda will live on in the strenght that he gave all of you.
May you all have a Shana Tova, Naomi and Teddy
