57, passed away on Fri., June 14, 2024 at UMMC in Jackson, MS.

Barbara Lynn Hughes was born to her late parents, John Moore and Virgie Dell Ezell on Feb. 18, 1967 in Houston, MS. She was the type of person that gave donations and visited the sick.

Barbara Lynn Hughes is survived by 1 daughter; Virganekqua Del Hughes Young (Sterling) of Dallas, TX. 1 Son; Troquad Akeem Hughes (Jessica)of Tupelo, MS. 3 Sisters; Celeste Rupert (Willie Jr.) of Baltimore, MD, Darlene Armstrong of Calera, AL, and Dessie Cousins of Houston, MS. 3 Brothers; Tyrone Ezell of Tupelo, MS, Ricky Moore of Houston, MS, and Anthony Ezell of Houston, MS. There are also 3 grandchildren.

The visitation will be on Sat., June 22, 2024 at Center Hill MBC from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. , one hour prior to the service. The service will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Colbert Graham officiating. The burial will follow at Gibbs Cemetery on Old Aberdeen in Buena -Vista.

Williams Memorial is in charge of all arrangements.
