Cathern Adams Johnson, age 86 died Sunday August 3, 2025 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was a retired employee of Blue Bell Mfg. and she was of the Church of God faith. She enjoyed flea markets, growing flowers, raising a garden and reading. She enjoyed spending time with her family also her church family and listening to gospel music. Services will be Wednesday at 11 am Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Mann officiating. Burial will be in the Prentiss Memorial Gardens. Survivors include a daughter, Ellen Johnson of Guntown, 2 sons, Steve Johnson & Becky of Guntown and John Johnson & Amy of Baldwyn, 3 sisters, Nadine Johnson of Wheeler, Kathy Lindsey & Pete of Wheeler and Becky Lewellen of Thrasher, 3 brothers, David Fair of Memphis, Carl Fair & Susan of Wheeler and Roy Fair of Wheeler, 5 grandchildren Jonathan Johnson & Tosha, Brad Johnson & Erin, Davie Johnson & Meagan, Mark Thomas & Amy and Eli Johnson, 16 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her children and grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents Forrest & Bertie Ricks Adams, her husband Ellis Horton Johnson, an infant daughter Teresa, 2 brothers and 2 sisters and her step-father William Fair.
