David Rooker Obituary

HICKORY FLAT – David Rooker, 52, died Sunday, May 18, 2014, at his home. He was born Sept. 12, 1961, in Holly Springs to Jack ""J.W."" and Mary Rooker. He was a logger.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Winborn U.M. Church in Hickory Flat. Burial will follow in Rooker Family Cemetery, 340 Downing Road. Serenity Funeral Home of New Albany is in charge.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Rooker of Hickory Flat; his children, Joseph Waller of Memphis, David King of Ripley, Christopher (Jennifer) Kennedy of Arkansas; his mother and stepfather, Donald and Mary Cash of Laws Hill; two brothers, Richard ""Rickey"" (Patty) Rooker of Arkansas and Russell ""Rusty"" (Janet) Rooker of Potts Camp; four grandchildren; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a daughter, Malissa Pugh.
Pallbearers will be Rickey Rooker II, Arnold Rooker, Buddy Rooker, Joe Mardis, Terry Mardis and Barry Joe Good.
Visitation will be 4 until 9 p.m. today at Winborn U.M. Church.
