I am one of the grand daughters to this lovely lady. My grandma was always so welcoming Everytime we came to visit no matter how long it's been. After my dad passed we kept in touch for a good while. But as a young mother who family starting growing. I started being absent a lot from the phone calls. Not thinking why is she. Not knowing my grandma was going through her illness. Being young sometimes you just don't have that mentality of keep in touch be with your loved ones as much as possible. But the times and moments we did share I am thankful for everyone of them. I will always love you from Makia aka Nica that's the name she always called me she never got my name right and I didn't care. I was happy to have a granny like her. She will be so missed

Flossie was a kind hearted person. She will truly be missed. I know i will miss the conversation we would have when I would stop by just to say hello. Reminiscing about when we all lived in Rock Island, IL. and asking me how my stepdad George was doing. We always had an interesting conversation. I'll always remember your SMILE. May your soul rest on now. You are in a better place. You'll always be in my heart. Love , Pam
