Gary Lloyd Prewitt, 56, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born March 8, 1960 to Vernon Lloyd Prewitt and Billie Sue Daniel Prewitt. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen with Rev. Stephen Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of the arrangements. He is survived by one son, Michael Charles Lloyd Prewitt of Birmingham, AL; one sister, Debbie Sue Prewitt Hollis (Bill) of Carthage, MS; one nephew, Ryan Hollis (Morgan) of Madison, MS; and a number of cousins. The family would like to thank the caregivers of North Mississippi Medical Group of Hospice and Three Rivers Health Service for the outstanding care given to Mr. Prewitt. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Steve McElroy, Mark Ray, Jay Barnes, Tony Anderson, Lamar Pruitt, and Tommy Oakes. Honorary pallbearers will be George Lumsden, Jerry Malm, and Hoyt Dunn.
