Kyle Jordan Obituary

It is with great sadness that the Jordan family announces the death of Kyle Reece Jordan on December 30, 2022, at the age of 39. Kyle was born on December 22, 1983, to Paul and Nancy Jordan of Ripley, MS. He graduated from Ripley High School in 2002 and attended Northeast Mississippi Community College. He joined the Marines in 2008 and fought bravely for our country in Afghanistan. Kyle received numerous medals for his service and accurate marksmanship during his four years as a Marine. After he returned home to Ripley, MS, he married his high school sweetheart, Jessica, in April of 2012. Kyle worked for Ward Engineering and then as the Assistant Park Director for the City of Ripley. His faith in God and willingness to help others led to a recent decision to pursue a degree in counseling so that he could help veterans suffering from PTSD. He had a passion for all things outdoors including hunting, fishing, and trapping, especially with his boys Eli and Reece. He looked forward to his little princess, Jo Jo, joining the Jordan wildlife management crew. He was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church and loved his church family. He not only served his church, but our community by coaching park league sports, helping others in so many ways, and always being willing to take time to talk to people and share stories. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed. We can take comfort in knowing that he is now with Jesus.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Fellowship Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Fellowship Baptist Church. Committal with Full Military Honors will be at Bluff Springs Cemetery in Ashland, MS.
