Riley Stepp Obituary

RED BAY, Ala. – Riley D. Stepp, 75, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Red Bay to Roy Casey and Edna Yielding Stepp. He was retired from Reynolds and was a member of the Red Bay Free Will Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force security service.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today, Dec. 1, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. A.G. Stepp and Dallas Culver officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home of Red Bay will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Carolyn Stepp of Red Bay; two daughters, Melisha Culver (Dallas) of Decatur and Traci Stepp of Golden; seven grandchildren, Shanna Turner, Chad Robinson, Brandon Murphy, Micah Murphy, Leslie Robinson, Chloe Robinson and Briley Robinson; two stepgrandchildren, Austin and Caroline Culver; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Janette Stepp, Nancy Lynch and Brenda Massey (Rayburn); one brother, Keith Stepp; his mother-in-law, Lucille Cagle of Red Bay; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter-Melinda Kay Stepp.
Pallbearers will be Chad Robinson, Micah Murphy, Doug Byrd, Stuart Setliff, Rayburn Massey and Brandon Murphy. Honorary pallbearers will be Briley Robinson and Jayden Turner.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. today at Deaton Funeral Home in Red Bay.
