Roosevelt Cunningham was born to late, Agusta Cunningham and Memphis Carter-Cunningham on May 15, 1950 in Prairie, MS.
Roosevelt Cunningham is survived by one son; Eric Cunningham Sykes of West Point, MS. Six sisters; Sally Bell (Leroy) of Round Rock, TX, Anne Mabry of Colorado Springs, CO, Mary Spratt (Larry) of Amory, MS, Lois Cox of South Haven, MS, Caroline Cunningham of Oxford, MS, and Cassandra Cunningham of Colorado Springs, CO. Four brothers; Calvin Cunningham of Colorado Springs, CO, Alonza Cunningham of St. Louis, MO, Corey Cunningham (Toni) of Houston, TX, Tony Cunningham (Charlotte) of Austin, TX and one grandchild.
The visitation will be Friday, August 1, 2025 from 4 - 6 p.m. at Williams Memorial. The service will be Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Baptist Grove in Prairie, MS. The officiant will be Rev. James Cook. The burial will follow at the Baptist Grove church cemetery.
Williams Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
