Donald R. Crone, age 85, of Woodville, OH, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at his residence. He was born on August 30, 1929, in Elmore, OH to Earl and Ella (Mock) Crone. Donald married Shirley Weyandt on June 21, 1949, in Somerset, KY and she survives. His employments included: 18 years at Martin-Marietta of Woodville, 20 at Pfizer of Gibsonburg and 7 years at Cimarron Express in Genoa as a laborer. He was a member of Woodville United Methodist Church (for 50 years), church men's group and Woodville Senior Center. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, golfing, camping, fishing and hunting.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Shirley; children, Cathryn (Gary) Bodle of Decatur, IN, Lauretta Bodle of Decatur, IN, Thomas (Janice) Crone of Gibsonburg, Stephanie (Dave) Fryman of Genoa, Jan-Ella Evans of Decatur, IN, Rhonda (Jeff) Cuevas of Elmore, Tracy (Katherine) Crone of Garrett, IN, Angela (Robert) Weiland of Decatur, IN and Linda Vanetta of Woodville; 18 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great- grandson; brother, Cecil Crone of Woodville and sister, Juanita "Sally" Collins of Genoa. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant granddaughter, Amanda Crone; granddaughter, Nikki Crone; great-grandson, Austin Klatt and brother, Warren Crone.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, January 8, 2015, from 2-9 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Home, 201 W. Main Street, Woodville, OH where funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 9, 2015, at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Judith Frank. Interment will be in Westwood Cemetery, Woodville, OH. There will be a bereavement luncheon served at Woodville United Methodist Church immediately following the cemetery committal services. Consideration for memorial contributions are to Ronald McDonald House, Toledo or Woodville United Methodist Church.
