James Lovvorn Obituary

James Lovvorn, Jr.

James Richard Lovvorn, Jr., age 70, passed away June 10, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

He was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford. James was co-owner of Lovvorn's Body Shop for thirty two years.

James was preceded in death by his parents, James Richard, Sr. and Margaret Stem Lovvorn; and brother, Jerry Wayne Lovvorn.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Lovvorn; sons, Jimmy (Heather) Lovvorn, Tim (Jennie) Lovvorn; brothers, William Lovvorn, Howard Lovvorn, Larry Lovvorn and Richmond Carter; sisters, Patsy Alsup, Linda McAdoo, and Judy Gienger; and grandchildren, Grant, Isaac and Elliott Lovvorn.

Chapel service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Jennings and Ayers, with Jack Tidrick officiating. Burial will follow at Windrow Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2015 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home, 820 South Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130; (615) 893-2422. Please leave online condolences at www.jenningsandayers.com.
