Kevin Barrett Obituary
Kevin Ray Barrett, age 45 of Christiana, passed away Monday, July 25, 2011 at his home.
Kevin was born in Davidson County and a member of Big Creek Baptist Church. He was a longtime employee of the Rutherford County School System.
Kevin was preceded in death by his son, Timmy Lee Barrett; grandparents, E.A. and Hazel Bowman; uncle, Powell Bowman.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Thompson of Christiana; son, Tyler Shane Barrett of Clarksville; brother, Randy (Tammy) Barrett of Nashville; sister, Danita (Jerry) Williams of Smyrna; aunts, Avis Wilson of Readyville and Virginia Wells of Christiana; nephews, Randy Barrett and Travis Adams.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 3 p.m. - 4 p.m., at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 5 p.m., at Thyatira Cemetery, with Bro. Steve Anderson officiating. Burial to follow.
Pallbearers will be family.

my brother and I along with other friends use to hang out with kevin during high school,and some afterwards.he was a solid person,and always enjoyed his company.i lost my brother jere in nov09,and i share your tremendous grief!...GOD BLESS YOU!
