Maynard Dieters

Murfreesboro - Maynard Henry Dieters, age 86, passed away at his residence April 22, 2018. He was born in Platteville, Wisconsin and a resident of Rutherford County. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Maynard worked for thirty years at Dubuque Meat Packaging, retired from Bridgestone and was the former owner and operator of Dairy Queen. He was a member of St Rose Catholic Church and had a never give up attitude.

Maynard was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Grethel Dieters; brothers, Kenneth, Clifford and Merle Dieters; and sister, Eileen Weidenbacher. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Ann Dieters; sons, Thomas Dieters, Robert (Renee) Dieters, Richard (Katrina) Dieters; daughters, Cabrina Dieters, Cathy (Dwayne) Pendergrast, Christine Dieters, Carolyn (Shane) Murphy, Carin Miranda; brother, Dale (Carol) Dieters; sister, Ruth (Gene) Motsch; grandchildren, Joseph and Colton Dieters, Shelby and Rylee Dieters, Jennifer Carter, Abigail and Kaci Murphy, Angie Dieters and Anthony Miranda; and great-grandson, Nathaniel Carter.

Visitation with the family will be 4:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, April 26, 2018 at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
