I knew Sam from working with him at Texas Instruments. When we had issues with some of our semiconductor testers Sam was the man to come over from the PAC building to the EBT/SCT test floors to save the day! You could tell he enjoyed his work and making friends.
We will surely miss you - friend - keep on smiling.

To my dearest friend Sam,
A big regret to hear you have passed away.
During your visit to Hatogaya and Hiji, you taught us a lot, and we enjoyed our private time.
You are always kind and frank to everyone. You made a lot of friends in and out of TI.
You don't care about language barrier and speak friendly even to the local people at Izakaya and at the hotel.
Your joke always entertained everyone.
As most of Izakaya shopkeeper know you, we were able to benefit discount.
I can still hear your voice clearly "I am a Baka Gaijin !".
We all miss you. But you are always in our mind with many wonderful memories.

Sleep well, my dear brother.
