Ross (Gene) Gross, 96, of Wylie, Texas passed away on February 7, 2026.
Born on December 13, 1929 in Fort Worth, Texas, Gene was born to the late JD Gross and Lillian Kimble. He graduated from Northside High School in Fort Worth, Texas and joined the Navy in 1948. He married the love of his life, Helen Louise Sims on July 3, 1949. They were married for 71 years before Louise was called home.
Gene had a lifetime career as a dental technician, owning his own company until he retired.
Gene is survived by his daughter Debbie Lewis and son-in-law Jeff Lewis, and Donna Heydrick and son-in-law Jeff Heydrick. He is also survived by his two brothers, Terry Gross and Allen Gross and sisters-in-law Nina Gross and Elizabeth Allen. He leaves his grandchildren Matt, Vonna, Amanda, Emily, and Beth along with his eight great grandchildren and great-great granddaughter. He was loved by his family members: brothers and sisters, sisters and brothers-in-laws along with his many nephews and nieces.
