Joyce Gross Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home - East Louisville on Feb. 18, 2026.
Joyce E. Gross, 79, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Baptist East Hospital in St. Matthews.

She was a Catholic by faith, worked for Dee's Crafts, but did more as a loving spouse and caring mother than she could do at any job. She always knew what to say, when to say it and was always thinking about everyone but herself.

Her selflessness and passionate dedication to her husband rang true while his health faded during his battle with dementia.

She will be greatly missed by those of us left behind but will be so wonderfully welcomed into our father's loving arms in heaven.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Joseph Gross Jr.

Survivors include her Daughter Lisa Ramsey (Jeff); her Son Tim Gross (Michele); 5 grandchildren Chris (Sarah), Luca, Sadie (Neil), Jake (Annie), and Madison; and 2 great-grandchildren Charlotte and Violet.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 28, 2026 10:00am until 1:00pm at Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home East Louisville, 12900 Shelbyville Rd. with a Funeral Service to follow at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
