Had the honor of being one of his financial advisors from the mid 90s till about 2010. Had great conversations about the market and other current events. RIP Mr White. You will be missed.

He was a gentleman and scholar and a great CEO. He guided AEP's move from NYC to Columbus so very smoothly and offered to help to make move just about any employee and their family who wanted to move to Columbus. I salute him for being such nice man, a great CEO. I met him few times at Riverside Hospital while I was working there as a volunteer. May his soul rest in peace and God bless his family.

As many have said or thought, Mr. White was the gentleman that was great to work with in AEP. My highest complement in my mind would be to wish he was back at the helm of AEP. May he rest in peace and peace be with his family.

Mr. White was one of the finest men my late husband, Bill, and I ever knew. He was such a wonderful mentor to Bill during his years as Chairman of AEP! And he continued his mentoring of Bill until Bill’s death in 2017. There was no one we respected more during Bill’s 37 years at AEP. Because of his care and mentoring, numerous wonderful opportunities for growth and education were made available to Bill, both at AEP, where Bill retired as Executive Vice President of AEP Service Corporation and President of Energy Delivery for AEP, and throughout the other 2 wonderful Careers Bill had following his early retirement from AEP. Mr. White’s advice and guidance were invaluable throughout Bill’s nearly 50 year career in Columbus. On behalf of my dearest beloved late husband and myself, I wish to offer my most sincere condolences to Mrs. White and their families. Mr. White’s legacy will never be forgotten! May God Comfort and Strengthen the entire family at this time, and always.

Mr. White was the epitome of a gracious gentleman. His soft-spoken wisdom and quiet kindnesses left an indelible impression on our hearts. When he softly offered to give me away at our wedding, his generosity melted my heart. Forever enriched by knowing him, we remain among his many fans.❤
