Ms. Peterson was my 1st grade teacher at Sunnyside Grade School and I was fortunate to have her as my 5th grade teacher at Sunnyside too. Ms. Peterson was a grand teacher and an even greater person. I recall crying on the last day of school as a 1st grader. I thought I would never see her again. Classmates calmed me down and reminded me that I would return to school after Summer vacation and see Ms. Peterson again. I did see her again and was blessed to have her for my teacher at an upper grade level. Again, a Grand Teacher and even greater person. May Ms. Peterson's soul reside in Heaven and her family members and students be filled with GRAND memories of Ms. Peterson!!
