BOBBIE SHELLEY Obituary

Bobbie Jean Sims Shelley Mrs. Bobbie Jean Sims Shelley of Dothan passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013. She was 67. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Don Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, February 5, 2013. Flowers will be accepted. Mrs. Shelley was a member of Burns Assembly of God and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved each and everyone of her children. She worked several years at Wesley Manor, loved to cook, especially pound cakes. She loved all kinds of flowers and loved and will miss her little dog (Missy). She is preceded in death by her father, James Sims, mother, Alberta Sims, and sister, Agnes Scot Sims. Survivors include her husband, Larry Shelley of Dothan; daughter, Patricia Dianne Walden and her husband, Ronnie of Midland City; sons, Anthony Shelley of Headland; Jerry Landon Shelley and his wife, Kathy of Wicksburg; Christopher Shelley of Dothan; Bryan Elmore Shelley of Dothan; sisters, Patricia Middleton and her husband, Walter of Headland; Linda Shelley of Dothan; brothers, James Leon Sims of Dothan; Mack Hilton Sims and his wife, Teresa of Dothan; John Sims and his wife, Pernima of New Jersey; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
