Dale & Megs, I am so sorry to hear about the death of Dan. As a young child when we would go to visit Uncle Clarence and Aunt Sue I remember Dan sticking out in my mind because he was the one that would PLAY with all of us. Always a good time whenever we would get together, even if it was helping with the chores. I am so sorry!

It was a way of life, and sometimes it made me crazy. All that re-fixing,re-heating,renewing. I wanted just once to be wasteful Waste meant you knew there would always be more. But then my father died, and on that clear, hot afternoon, in the warmth of the hospital room, I was struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there isn't anymore. No more hugs,no more phone calls just to chat,no more special moments to celebrate togeather,no more "just one minute".Sometimes, what we care about the most gets all used and goes away... never to return before we can say good-bye,say I love you. So, while we have it, is best we love it and care for it,and fix it when it is broken. This is true for marriage, old cars, children with bad report cards, dogs with bad hips, aging parents, grandparents, and friendships. We keep them because they are worth it. Some things we keep,.Like a best friend that moved away. There are just somethings that make us happy,no matter what,or a classmate we grew up with.Life is important, like people we know who are special...and so we keep them close...in thought,in prayer in deed.I recieved this from someone who thought I was a Keeper.I'am sending it to all of you now.It is now your turn to tell all those people that are KEEPERS in your life...like YOU!!! God Bless "DAN"
