Lanier-Andler Funeral Home 8261 Highway 90 East Sneads, Florida 850-593-9900 Mrs. Debra Lynn Barr, age 49, a native of Memphis, Tennessee, residing in Grand Ridge, Florida since very early life, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015, in Dothan, Alabama. She was of the Protestant Faith and had retired as Correctional Officer with the State Correctional Institution System. Debra loved and lived for her daughters and family and will be missed so much by them and the friends she had made during her lifetime. She was an avid sports enthusiast, playing Softball, Volleyball and Basketball every chance she could find. Debra is survived by her mother, Evelyn Shaw Granger; her two daughters, Delena Barr and Salena Barr, both of Quincy, Florida; two brothers, Timothy and Thomas Granger, both of Grand Ridge, Florida and one sister, Sybil Ooppell of Grand Ridge, Florida. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas L. Granger. Visitation with the family will begin 1:00 PM CST, Sunday, January 4, 2015, at Lanier-Andler Funeral Home Chapel in Sneads, Florida. Funeral Services will begin one hour later at 2:00 PM CST, also at Lanier-Andler Chapel, followed by Committal and Interment Services at Bethel Cemetery.
