FLOYD SNELL

Floyd Snell Mr. Floyd Snell of Cottonwood died Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 78. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2010 at Ramah Church. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2 at the family home, 5629 State Line Rd. in Cottonwood. Mr. Snell was born in Midland City on July 22, 1931 to Myrtle & Malcolm Snell. He was a member of Ramah Primitive Baptist Church in Cottonwood. Survivors include: his wife, Louise McCardle Snell; daughter, Janice Sei-del of Dothan; sons, Lamar Snell (Donna) of New Orleans, LA, LaDon Snell of Taylor, Greg (Brenda) Snell of Napier Field; step-daughters, Tammy (Troy) Wilson of Headland and Teresa Temples of Eufaula; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and brother, Jimmy (Judy) Snell of Ozark. The body is being donated to science.
