Gene Allen Speigner

Gene Allen Speigner Mr. Gene Allen Speigner of Enterprise, AL passed away Sunday April 18, 2010 at the family residence. He was 86. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Sorrells Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Duhaime and Rev. Dwayne Sims officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to a favorite charity. Mr. Speigner was born August 13, 1923 in Bellwood, AL to the late Jess A. and Mettie Jane Knight Speigner. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was retired from Civil Service. He was a faithful member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Lucille Bragg Speigner, Enterprise; son and daughter-in-law, Rickey G. & Denette Speigner, Burns, TN; 2 grandchildren: Amber and Allen Speigner; 2 sisters: Florence Bean, Newnan, GA and Hilda Windham, Chancellor, AL and several nieces and nephews.
