Buie's Restaurant holds a special place in my heart. I vividly remember the kind and courteous way we were treated as a group of sometimes rowdy and disrespectful teenagers. Some of us in the class of 62 would meet there after special events like a school dance. Thanks for the memories!! Chip Bailey

The many times waliking into Buies to get my Boston Creme pie it was sad when Buies closed yet nothing comes close as to this. Janice and my prayers are with you all at this time. Maybe she and Mr. Buie well have me a peice of Boston Creme Oie when we meet in heaven.

Buddy, Jerry and Gloria...and all the Buie family...
Paula and I were saddened to hear of your sweet mama's passing. Buddy, you and I had just talked about her at the Al Music Hall of Fame Induction in Montgomery last week. She was a real trooper and gave all of you such a good upbringing. I know you and all her friends will miss her greatly.

Jerry, it has been many years since seeing or talking with you, but always remembered you and Buddy each time my mother would mention seeing Mrs. Buie at Sunday School or at a church function. As you probably know your mother and my mother were high school friends and graduated together and were in the same Sunday School Class. She looked after many of us kids at "Buie's" and made sure we behaved and I will always remember her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I remember many times going to Buie's with my father and brothers to eat and talk with all the patrons. Sorry to hear about Mrs. Buie, great memories will always be with us.
