Mr. Howard C. Humble of Enterprise, AL passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Flowers Hospital. He was 82. Funeral services with full military honors will be at 11:30 am Friday, November 28, 2014 at Open Door Baptist Church with Rev. John McCrummen officiating and his son, Perry providing the eulogy. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the church Friday beginning at 10:30 am and continuing until service time. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Open Door Baptist Church, c/o Smile Train, 1509 Rucker Blvd., Enterprise, AL 36330. Mr. Humble was born January 20, 1932 in North Carolina to the late Henry Fletcher and Lillian Mosell Spoon Humble. He was a member of Open Door. In addition to his parents, his wife, Gisela "Oma" Humble preceded him in death. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Perry and Keran Humble, Enterprise; two grandchildren, Kyle Humble and Travis Humble.
