Howard Peeples Obituary

Howard Rudolph Peeples Sr. of Level Plains died Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at Medical Center Enterprise. He was 72.

Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Saturday, July 1, at Christ Community Church of God with the Rev. Johnny Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 30, at Searcy Funeral Home.

Mr. Peeples retired from the U.S. Army after 21 years of service. He also worked at Rawls Warehouse for over 20 years.

Mr. Peeples was preceded in death by his parents, T. R. and Susie Mae Peeples, and his brother, William Peeples.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Ursula Peeples, Level Plains; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and George Martin, Level Plains; son and daughter-in-law, Howard Rudolph Peeples Jr. and his wife Sherri, Level Plains; six grandchildren, Christopher Martin, Kevin Martin, Jamie Maddox, Stephanie Maddox, Eric McCarter, Chad Dodson; three great-grandchildren, Faith Renee Martin, Zachary Maddox, Haylee Maddox; sister, Delaine Cantrell, Daleville.
